5-for-5 Day for Medina Sunday, August 27th , 2113 David Medina did all he could with his bat, but it just wasn't enough for the Sioux Falls Canaries to pull out a victory. The 23-year-old right fielder rapped out 5 hits in the game, but the Canaries could not overcome the Lincoln Saltdogs. Sioux Falls lost the game, 16-9, at Sioux Falls Stadium. David Medina singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Marco Valadez in the 7th and doubled in the 9th. So far this season, Medina has 6 home runs and a .217 batting average. |
