American Association South Division Champions Crowned Wednesday, August 26th , 2111 The Texas AirHogs have accomplished the "first step in a long journey" tonight, according to starting pitcher Chuck Wahler. "American Association South Division champions has a nice ring to it, doesn't it? But we're not done yet, this is just the beginning," he said. Wahler, of course, is referring to trying to win the 2nd Round 2 in team history. "We won't be happy until we're champions of American Association." With a record of 61-30, Texas's crown is the 6th division title for the franchise. |
