Postseason Bid Ends for Tucson Saturday, August 29th , 2111 They put up a valiant effort, but the Tucson Chameleons didn't have what it takes to make the American Association playoffs in 2111. The club was officially eliminated from postseason qualification today. "Sucks," said Chameleons starting pitcher William Fosbinder. Tucson last appeared in the postseason in 2107. This is their 4th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 18 times in their 24-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Chameleons have made the playoffs 3 times. Tucson has won the Round 2 2 times in their history. |
