3-Homer Hat Trick for Henderson Saturday, July 20th , 2097 It was a terrific day today for Jeff Henderson, who ripped three home runs at Otters Field, and a disappointing one for the Medford Alouettes who nevertheless dropped the game to the Bakersfield Otters. "He was instant offense today," Medford skipper Marcos Perez said. "Jeff really put on a show. He more than did his part. We just didn't come through with hits at the right time to win the game." For the day, Henderson collected 3 hits in 4 at-bats, scored 4 runs and had 4 RBIs. In the postgame press conference he told the reporters he has always liked to hit at Otters Field. "I got some good pitches to hit and turned on them real good," he said. Jeff Henderson hit a two-run home run off Orlando Gomez in the 1st, flied out in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Orlando Gomez in the 6th, walked in the 8th and hit a solo-shot off Antonio Gonzalez in the 9th. Thus far in 2097 Henderson is hitting .270 with 19 home runs, 45 RBIs, 44 runs scored and has compiled a .314 OBP. |
