Chicago Wins Round 1 Friday, September 11th , 2111 The Chicago Dogs out-dueled and outgunned the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks in the Round 1 and are on to the next round. Chicago won the final game 5-2 at Newman Outdoor Field and the series 4-1. Sandy Felcia was named series MVP for a strong offensive performance during the Round 1. He had a .438 average with a .550 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 4 RBI and scored 4 runs. "I was seeing the ball well and glad to help my team out and get us to the Round 2," he said. The Chicago Dogs don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Medford Alouettes - Texas AirHogs series. Texas leads the series 3 games to 1. The Round 2 is scheduled to begin on September 15th , 2111. |
