Johnson Batters Medford for 5 Hits
Friday, August 26th , 2107
5 times is the charm -- at least for Jeremy Johnson.

The Milwaukee Milkmen first baseman tore up the Medford Alouettes to the tune of 5 hits in 6 at-bats at Routine Field. The offensive onslaught from Johnson powered the 11-7 Milkmen win.

"Johnson was a tough out," Medford manager Shawn Lundstrom said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure."

Jeremy Johnson struck out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Miguel Vela in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Kareem Newport in the 9th.

This year, Johnson is hitting .332 with 18 home runs.
