Shackelford on Fire, 5-for-5 Against Chicago Monday, August 27th , 2108 It was a big day for Keith Shackelford and he brought the Medford Alouettes along for the ride. Shackelford led his club to victory, 12-4, over the Chicago Dogs at Ballpark of Medford, smoking Chicago pitching for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. The 26-year-old first baseman later called the victory "sweet." Keith Shackelford hit a two-run single in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Craig Marks in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Miguel Vela in the 6th and singled in the 8th. So far this season, Shackelford is batting .284 with 23 home runs. |
