Poush on Fire: 6-for-6 for Bakersfield
Monday, August 25th , 2110
Otters left fielder Nate Poush had his way with Cleburne pitching at Otters Field and mauled them for 6 hits in 6 at-bats. His efforts were all in vain, though, as the Railroaders ruined his great day by toppling the Otters, 12-11.
"I had a great day, but you've got to give Cleburne credit, they did what they had to do to win," he told reporters after the game. "They weren't very impressed with my 6 hits."
"Oh, we noticed what Poush did today," Railroaders skipper Justin Gregory said. "He had quite a game. I can tell you this, we will pitch him a little differently the next time we face him."
Nate Poush singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
This season, Poush has banged out 8 hits in 25 at-bats for a .320 average with 1 home run. He is getting on base at a .414 pace and his totals also include 2 RBIs and 2 runs scored.
