Medford Won't Make Playoffs Thursday, September 4th , 2110 The playoff chase by the Medford Alouettes has run out of steam. The club was officially eliminated from postseason contention today. "We came up short," manager Shawn Lundstrom said. The Alouettes have missed the playoffs 30 times in their 38 years as a American Association franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 9th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2101. In the last 10 seasons, the Alouettes have missed the playoffs 8 times. |
