Vasquez Wins August's Rookie Award Monday, September 1st , 2098 Manuel Vasquez made a lot of Winnipeg fans happy this month. He not only put up a fine 4-0 won-lost record, he also was named the Rookie of the Month in the American Association. In August, he made 6 starts and compiled an impressive 1.14 ERA, allowing teams to hit only .093 against him. So far this season Vasquez has compiled a 7-4 record with a 4.13 ERA. |
