Irate Richer Suspended 4 Games Tuesday, August 27th , 2097 The league commissioner has zero tolerance when it comes to touching an umpire. That's the reason Adam Richer of the Dogs has been given a 4-game suspension. He apparently made too much contact with the home plate umpire while intensely questioning a called strike in a recent game at Impact Field with the Milwaukee Milkmen. Richer said he would not appeal and would serve his suspension beginning today. Thus far this year Richer has hit .233 with 9 home runs and 39 RBIs. |
