Milwaukee Deals Ahmetaj to Gary SouthShore for Pierre Tuesday, November 25th , 2098 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Milkmen announced today the acquisition of 28-year old RHP Bob Pierre from the Gary SouthShore RailCats in exchange for 24-year old RHP Manny Hernandez and 22-year old RHP Xhemil Ahmetaj. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Milkmen, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." Gary SouthShore will retain a portion of Pierre's remaining contract. |
