Sussex County Celebrates Wild Card Win Friday, August 30th , 2080 As the clock struck midnight in the Sussex County Miners clubhouse, the celebration showed no signs of slowing down. The Miners were certainly ready to celebrate their Frontier League wild card berth. "It's time to let off a little steam after a grind of a season," said reliever Bill Bagley. "We may act a bit like teenagers tonight celebrating, but we'll be back to being big leaguers tomorrow." With a 53-43 record, Sussex County will be seeking its 2nd Frontier League championship. |
