Velasco This Year's Top Rookie Sunday, September 29th , 2080 Victor Velasco of the Boulders had a good year during 2080. In his debut season the New York first baseman hit .302 on his way to the Newcomer of the Year Award. Velasco collected 75 hits with 53 home runs, 94 RBIs and 80 runs scored. He received 14 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Ryan White of the Evansville Otters finished second in voting, while Victor Salinas of the New York Boulders finished third.
