Sarro Goes on Rampage Against Cubs Friday, January 23rd, 2043 It seemed that Washington (AFL) shortstop Jeff Sarro could do no wrong as the Nationals KO'd the Cubs, 10-7 today. Sarro rapped out 5 hits in 5 at-bats and seemed to know which pitches Cubs hurlers were throwing. "I think the Nationals were stealing signs," growled one unhappy Chicago (AFL) fan after the game. "I just felt good today. I saw the ball well and just wanted to make good contact and put the ball in play," said the jubilant Sarro in the postgame press interview. Jeff Sarro singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run double in the 5th and doubled in the 7th.
