The West Michigan Whitecaps stormed past the Lansing Lugnuts, 12-5, at Fifth Third Ballpark. West Michigan catcherJustin Galkin led the hit parade. He was 3-4 with a home run, a triple, a double, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The winning pitcher was Jesus Rayas. He's now 6-8. He went 7 innings, allowing 4 runs on 8 hits for the Whitecaps.
