The Cincinnati (AZL) Reds topped the Texas (AZL) Rangers, 5-2, in Arizona Rookie League action at Ed Smith Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of Cincinnati (AZL) pitcher Ruben Leos. Pat Taylor finished the game for Cincinnati (AZL) and earned his 2nd save. Cincinnati (AZL), now 3-1, is setting the league on fire so far.

Nick Wade, the Cincinnati (AZL) shortstop, contributed a run-scoring single in the bottom of the second inning to make the score 2-1, Reds. For the game, Wade went 4 for 5 with 4 singles.

"We think we're a good team overall, so we're not too surprised to win today," said Wade.
