Rangers Stay Hot with Extra-Inning Win
The Texas (AZL) Rangers defeated the Cleveland (AZL) Guardians, 6-3, in Arizona Rookie League action at Indians Developmental Complex. Texas (AZL) pitcher Efrain Duran had a standout performance. Texas (AZL) pitcher Agustin Contreras got the win, upping his record to 3-0. Lorenzo Aguilar got the loss. The first-place Rangers have a record of 18-6.

Texas (AZL) used the timely hitting of Nnana Grosland to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a 2-run single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Rangers on top, 4-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"Big win," said Grosland.
