In a tight game between the Cleveland (AZL) Guardians and the Cincinnati (AZL) Reds, nobody was more important for the winners than Andreas Graves. Graves was masterful in the 2-1 win. Cincinnati (AZL) pitcher Carlos Barba got the win, upping his record to 1-0. Jordan Briskey got the loss. Jake Gonser recorded his 1st save for Cincinnati (AZL).

The game turned with no one out in the top of the fifth. That's when Graves hit a run-scoring single off Jordan Briskey. It propelled the Reds into the lead, 2-1.

"Scoring was at a premium tonight," Graves said.

The last-place Reds improved to 17-20.
