Boosted by the 3-hit performance of Mike Laudon, who is tied for 3rd in the PIO in home runs with 5, the Cleveland (Rk+) Guardians defeated the Helena Brewers, 8-2. Helena now owns a losing streak of 5 games.

Cleveland (Rk+) used a clutch at-bat from Joe Barkell to capture the win. The catcher hammered a grand slam home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Guardians ahead, 8-2. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"The effort wasn't good enough," said losing manager Justin Hollingsworth.
