Brewers Handle Guardians, Grab 3-2 Win
The Helena Brewers and Cleveland (Rk+) Guardians played a tight game with the hosts claiming a hard-fought win.

The bats were silent much of the day at Kindrick Legion Field. But 19-year old catcher Josh Keil produced just enough offense to carry the Brewers past the Cleveland (Rk+) Guardians, 3-2. Keil was 2 for 3 with a home run. Caleb Powell earned the save, his 2nd, for the Brewers.

Nate Mitchell, who is tied for 10th in the PIO in hits with 34, aided the Helena cause with a run-scoring ground out in the bottom of the third. For the game, the third baseman went 1-3 with a triple.

Keil attributed the win to "everyone pulling their weight."

Helena, at 19-10, holds down first place in the North.
