Brewers Take Tight Tangle
The Helena Brewers had to overcome a good performance from Chicago (Rk+) pitcher Kevin Costa to claim a 3-2 win at Harbingers Ballpark. Costa went 6 innings and allowed 1 run. Aaron Kenny picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 3-0. Hector Caballero suffered the loss. Izzy Dominguez earned the save, his 7th, for the Brewers.

Helena used the timely hitting of Dan Groves to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Brewers on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"The effort we put into this one paid off," Groves said.

The win elevated the Brewers to 21-12.
