Voyagers Use Late Rally to Win 6th Straight
|
Kindrick Legion Field was the site of a competitive game between the Helena Brewers and Great Falls Voyagers.
Great Falls Voyagers starter Luis Navarro was dealing. He helped his team knock off the Helena Brewers, 3-1. Great Falls reliever Eric Byrne picked up the win, upping his record to 7-0. Yukinobu Kanno was saddled with the loss.
Adam Dixon provided a timely hit. The Great Falls pinch hitter delivered a run-scoring triple in the top of the eighth inning to put the Voyagers on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in the game, but he made it count.
"Luis gets on the mound and he competes and that's what you want," said Great Falls manager Harry Andreotta.
The first-place Voyagers have won 6 in a row.
