The Texas (Rk+) Rangers topped the Grand Junction Rockies, 6-4, in Pioneer League action at Suplizio Field. The game was highlighted by the performance of Texas (Rk+) pitcher Mark Josey. Daniel Morton collected his 4th save. The Rangers improved to 23-43.

Joey Brooks helped his team jump on top from the get-go. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a run-scoring single to give Texas (Rk+) a 1-0 lead.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Brooks told the Texas (Rk+) Daily.
