Losing Streak Continues for Hustle with 4-1 Loss to Brewers
Helena starter Ben Ames put a stranglehold on the Las Vegas (Rk+) offense. The right-hander had complete command of his slider in leading the Brewers to a 4-1 win. Ames picked up the win for Helena, going 6 innings. He gave up 1 run on 7 hits. He now sports a record of 3-5. Mike Winchenbach earned save number 1 this season.

Helena used a timely hit from Cesar Contreras to get the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Brewers ahead, 2-1. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it made an impact.

"For the most part, I made good pitches when I needed to," said Ames.
