The exploits of shortstop Al Gatlin helped the Great Falls Voyagers defeat the Billings Mustangs, 9-2. Gatlin was 4-4 with a home run, 3 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3. Great Falls goes to 49-27, Billings to 48-27.

With Great Falls leading 1-0 in the top of the first, Gatlin hit a slider from Kyle Gruhlke for a 3-run home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Voyagers ahead, 4-0.

"The effort wasn't good enough," said losing manager Jon Koehn.
