The Portland Tigers picked up a win at Dehler Park, dropping the Billings Mustangs, 6-5. Miles Bailey was the difference-maker. Tim Wood got credit for the save for Portland. It was his 4th of the year. Portland is second in the South with a record of 54-22.

The Tigers got a big hit from first baseman B.J. McRitchie. Facing Billings pitcher Donovan Gordon in the top of the seventh, McRitchie pounded a 2-run double to right. His 12th double of the season put the Tigers ahead, 6-1.

"Fun game," said Bailey, "even when the outcome was in doubt."
