Rays Advance to Round 2
The Princeton Rays looked strong and dominant in a series sweep against the San Francisco (Rk+) Giants.

The Round 1 victory gives the club a great deal of momentum heading into the Round 2.

Princeton won the final game by a 6-5 count and the series 3-0.

Gabe Gibson captured MVP honors on the strength of his 0.00 ERA over 8.1 innings pitched. He had a 0-0 record.

"As long as we win, that's all that matters" he said of the honor.

The Princeton Rays don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Johnson City Cardinals - Baltimore (Rk+) Orioles series. Johnson City leads the series 2 games to 1. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
