The Albuquerque Isotopes outlasted Danny Jaworski and the Nashville Sounds, 8-6. Jaworski was impressive in the loss. The Nashville left fielder was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Miles Bishop earned the save for Albuquerque, his 5th of the year. The first-place Isotopes now have a win-loss record of 21-14.

Mike Schirmer hit a 2-run double off George Lynch in the top of the second, which put the Isotopes in front, 2-0. In addition to the double, Schirmer had 1 single and 1 walk, while going 2 for 3.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Schirmer.
