Nationals Take Down Mustangs, 4-2
|
With Mario Delgado leading the charge, the Washington (Rk+) Nationals defeated the Billings Mustangs, 4-2. Delgado was 1-3 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Nationals. The Nationals, with just their 4th win so far in 2107, have yet to catch fire.
Delgado had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a 0-1 fastball from Kyle Gruhlke, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Nationals a 3-2 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Delgado.
"Every time you put a 'W' on the board is always good," said Delgado.
