Mud Hens Plugged by Mehling, Clippers, 5-0 Thursday, June 26th , 2098 The Columbus Clippers rolled to an easy 5-0 win over the Toledo Mud Hens at Fifth Third Field today. Leading the way to victory was starter Doug Mehling, who shackled the Toledo Mud Hens and held them scoreless on a 6-hitter. "This is what every pitcher wants to do when they go out there," Mehling said in his postgame press conference. So far this season, Mehling has logged a 6-4 record with a 2.75 ERA.
