Pawtucket Blanked by Rivera, 3-0 Friday, June 13th , 2110 It wasn't easy but Bobby Rivera made it look that way. Rivera silenced the Pawtucket Red Sox, 3-0, in a Syracuse Chiefs triumph at McCoy Stadium. Despite the appearance of dominance, Rivera said that he felt like he was struggling all game. He gave up 3 walks and 2 hits. "It didn't feel quite right today, but I made the decision to bear down and work through it," he said. "I made a few mistakes but it goes to show what you can do with grit and not much else." This year, Rivera has worked 66.1 innings with 61 strikeouts en route to a 8-3 record and 3.12 ERA.
