Columbus Stymied by Figgs Saturday, July 25th , 2111 Joe Figgs of the Pawtucket Red Sox spun his magic on the Columbus Clippers. He blanked them, 6-0, on 5 hits, registering 9 strikeouts and 1 walk. "The bottom line was I just kept the ball down," Figgs said. "My breaking stuff was down. Everything was down." Talking to reporters in the postgame interview, Pawtucket skipper David Larson said the team "got solid pitching, good defense and took great team at-bats in a lot of different situations."
