Martin Blanks Scranton WB, 10-0 Sunday, August 16th , 2111 In an outstanding mound performance, Columbus Clippers starter Tom Martin fired a complete-game shutout against the Scranton WB RailRiders at Huntington Park. Martin was the key to the 10-0 Columbus win. The 26-year-old right-hander was in high spirits for much of the game, his mood largely unfazed by the 8 hits and 2 walks he allowed. "8 hits?" he said with a laugh following the game. "Listen, I'd be happy with a 30-hitter, as long as it was a shutout." This season, Martin has a 13-6 record with a 2.50 ERA.
