Syracuse Shut Out by Camacho Friday, September 25th , 2111 Louisville Bats starter Alfonso Camacho really did a number on the Syracuse Chiefs, shutting them out, 10-0, on 2 hits in a complete game victory. He issued 3 walks and had 16 strikeouts. "We didn't have good at-bats," said Syracuse manager Phil Burkel. "I don't make excuses, but when we were playing the game, our energy didn't show. That comes from either extremely good pitching or extremely lousy hitting and seeing as our team has a bunch of good hitters, I have to tip my cap to Camacho."
