Red Wings Hedger No-Hits Braves Monday, July 30th , 2114 Rochester is abuzz in the wake of a masterful no-hitter by Justin Hedger. The 24-year-old hurler was dominating against the Gwinnett Braves, leading the Red Wings to a 4-0 win at Frontier Field. "I could tell early on that it was going to be a long day for us," Gwinnett manager Danny Gerson said afterward. "He made us look real bad. He was that good. And still going strong at the end of the game." Hedger had 12 strikeouts and gave up 2 walks en route to the no-hitter. "Yeah, this was a special day for me," Hedger said. "I had my good stuff and good movement. Good location, too. Even when I made a mistake, I got away with it today."
