Conrad Belts Bunch of Base Hits Monday, June 8th , 2111 Justin Conrad was sizzling at the plate. In a game played at Southwest University park, the Las Vegas third baseman blistered the El Paso Chihuahuas for 5 hits in 5 at-bats to pace his club to a good 7-2 victory. "Conrad was too tough to get out," Chihuahuas skipper Matt Pace said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Justin Conrad singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and singled in the 9th.
