Tacoma Comes up Empty Against Gandara Sunday, August 24th , 2104 Reno Aces pitcher Israel Gandara blanked the Tacoma Rainiers, 7-0, at Aces Ballpark, tossing a 6-hitter while issuing no walks and collecting 6 strikeouts. After his sharp shutout performance, he shared credit with the rest of the club. "I was just locked in out there and some of that is due to having a catcher who has such a great feel for hitters," Gandara said. "I couldn't do what I did without all the guys out there today."
