Joanes Bashes 5 Base Hits Tuesday, August 12th , 2110 Fresno second baseman Anrrique Joanes had a big day at Chukchansi Park against the Round Rock Express. The 24-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 5-for-5 and led to the 7-5 Grizzlies triumph over Round Rock. "Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Joanes said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all." Anrrique Joanes hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
