Wiedemann Sharp, Blanks Curve, 7-0 Sunday, June 8th , 2098 Dusty Wiedemann of the Reading Fightin Phils shut down the Altoona Curve 7-0 on a 2-hitter, holding them scoreless while ringing up 8 strikeouts and allowing 3 walks. After the game Wiedemann said, "Guys have been fouling off a lot of pitches lately and I've been getting into too many deep pitch counts, but I'm pleased with the way things went today. I went right after them and stayed ahead in the count." For the season Wiedemann has made no relief appearances, recorded no saves and compiled a 4-3 won-lost mark and a 1.66 ERA.
