Hartford Beats Reading 11-0, Koeppel Ks 15 Thursday, August 22nd , 2109 Hartford Yard Goats starter Meiver Koeppel brought his best stuff to New Britain Stadium against the Reading Fightin Phils, striking out 15 batters in his club's 11-0 victory. In a strong performance, the 24-year-old Koeppel gave up 4 hits in his 7.1 innings of work and issued no walks. "I felt good out there," he said after the game. "My fastball had a lot of life and my fastball was sharp. It was giving hitters fits and working well for me." This year, Koeppel has a 13-4 record with a 3.32 ERA in 24 starts.
