Curve Lead with Chin, Get KO'd, 9-0 Tuesday, August 17th , 2106 Jason Elkins of the Akron RubberDucks toyed with the Altoona Curve, as he shut them out, 9-0, at People's Natural Gas Field. He was almost untouchable, twirling a 5-hitter with 10 strikeouts and no walks. "I'm sweating now because it's hot in here," Elkins said in the clubhouse after the game.
