5-for-6 Game for Avila Saturday, September 6th , 2110 It was nearly a perfect day for Roberto Avila at Hadlock Field. Although the Akron RubberDucks center fielder was sensational at the plate, collecting 5 base hits in 6 at-bats, it just wasn't enough to keep the RubberDucks from falling to the Portland Sea Dogs. Portland spoiled his great day at the plate by winning the game, 12-9. Roberto Avila doubled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, struck out in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
