Bowie Defeats Hartford Monday, September 15th , 2110 The Bowie Baysox were good enough to get past the Hartford Yard Goats at New Britain Stadium today and secure the 22nd championship in franchise history. "When you wear Baysox on your shirt, you're good at something," Bowie skipper Seth Dugas told the press. Baysox shortstop Ian Boyle was named MVP of the series after he went .583 with no home runs and no runs batted in. "It feels totally incredible," Boyle said. "I could live to 1,000 years old and I'd remember this moment." The new champions capped off a great season with a 4-3 victory over the Yard Goats to win the Round 1 3-1.
