Comparan Shuts Out Midland, 7-0 Wednesday, September 2nd , 2111 Goose eggs were the order of the day for the Midland RockHounds as starter Alejandro Comparan shut them out, 7-0, at Security Bank Ballpark. The Corpus Christi pitcher struck out 3 and walked 0 while allowing 5 hits. "Comparan was good but he wasn't flawless," Midland manager Noel Clodfelter said. "We had a few opportunities to make something happen and we didn't do it. Not to take anything away from Corpus Christi, but this is on us."
