San Antonio Defeats Northwest Arkansas Thursday, September 25th , 2110 The San Antonio faithful were cheering in the streets, and Northwest Arkansas fans wiping away the tears, after the Missions won the Round 2 at Nelson W. Wolff Municipal Stadium today. The Missions clinched it by knocking off the Naturals 8-0 to take their 19th Texas League crown. San Antonio took the series 4-2. "This club never gave up all year long," San Antonio manager David Medina told the press. "They believed they could win the title and they did." On the way to the Round 2 title, San Antonio compiled a 82-56 won-loss record and finished first in the South Division.
