Salem Punchless in 8-0 Loss to Hillcats Friday, August 15th , 2098 Larry Michelotti shut out the Salem Red Sox 8-0 on a 4-hit masterpiece for the Lynchburg Hillcats at Ed Smith Stadium today. "He was kind of teasing them with his off-speed stuff, and his fastball was moving everywhere," Lynchburg skipper Josh Anthony said afterward. Michelotti registered 11 strikeouts and issued no walks in pitching a gem. "We just didn't swing the bats very well. Or else he just pitched good, whichever way you want to look at it," said Salem manager Taylor Ahearn after the defeat. This season Michelotti has a 9-3 record with a 1.16 ERA.
