Threshers Pitching Ravaged by Burchell Thursday, June 7th , 2108 It was a parade of hits for Jason Burchell of the St. Lucie Mets at Tradition Field. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Burchell finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Mets to a win, 23-1. "Burchell was really good and we were really bad," groaned Threshers manager Luis Alvarez. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Jason Burchell singled in the 1st, hit a two-run double in the 2nd, walked in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 7th.
