Daytona Downs Charlotte as Ordaz Tosses 1-0 Shutout Tuesday, July 1st , 2110 Juan Ordaz of the Daytona Tortugas was one tough customer on the hill, blanking the Charlotte Stone Crabs, 1-0, on 5 hits. "When he's on, he's tough to hit," said Charlotte manager Victor Beltran after the game. "He's just a bulldog out there." The 22-year-old Tortugas right-hander registered 14 strikeouts and allowed no walks and 5 hits. Ordaz has posted a 6-7 record for the year with a 3.05 ERA.
