Melton Spins 2-0 Shutout Against Tampa Sunday, August 9th , 2111 Jake Melton kept the Tampa Yankees hitters from doing much damage at Joker Marchant Stadium. Tampa could only muster 2 hits and draw 3 walks against the right-handed Melton, who controlled them throughout the game. Lakeland won the contest, 2-0. Melton added 6 strikeouts in his complete-game effort. "I don't know if I was on or if they were off today," Melton told reporters after the shutout win.
