Horton Pitches Cardinals to 4-0 Win Friday, August 3rd , 2108 Paul Horton shut out the Tampa Yankees, 4-0, on a 6-hit masterpiece for the Palm Beach Cardinals at George M. Steinbrenner Field. "He was kind of teasing them with his off-speed stuff, and his fastball was moving everywhere," Palm Beach skipper Greg Cary said afterward. Horton registered 5 strikeouts and issued 3 walks in pitching a gem. "We just didn't swing the bats very well. Or else he just pitched good, whichever way you want to look at it," said Tampa manager Ernesto Blanco after the defeat.
